From sheer runway outfits to presidential reactions, the 2026 Grammy’s had the usual amount of noteworthy moments. here we examine the top 10, starting with the biggest winner of the night: Bad Bunny.
Bad Bunny wins big
Bad Bunny was this years winner for Album of the Year with his sixth studio album Debí Tirar Más Fotos, in addition to winning Best Música Urbana Album for the same album and Best Global Music Performance for "EoO". Beyond music however, Bad Bunny’s acceptance speech was filled with calls of action and pro-immigration rhetoric. He notably started his speech with the words: “ICE out!” Referencing the pins that were adorned by numerous other celebrities including Olivia Rodrigo, Kehlani, Billie Eilish, and Carol King. The speech comes at a time where immigration crackdown raids under the Trump administration have been rampant, and is yet another display of the growing feud between the Far-Right and Bad Bunny, who is set to perform at this weekends Super Bowl Halftime Show. The decision was met with swift criticism by Trump and other MAGA affiliates. However, Bad Bunny’s popularity and fan base has continued to grow, and this win marks a major milestone in the artists career.

Steven Spielberg, one of the most prolific filmmakers of all time, became just the 21st person to receive a Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony in their career. He received the Grammy for producing the Music by John Williams documentary that won Best Music Film. Spielberg’s career is one that now includes four Emmys, a Grammy, a Tony, and three Oscars, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
3. Chappell Roan Stuns On the red carpet
Chappell Roan added to a recent trend of celebrities going nude at awards ceremonies and public appearances at this years Grammy’s. The custom wine red dress that hung from her nipple rings, was styled by Jenny Collins, and left very little to the imagination. Roan, 27, was nominated for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for her single The Subway.
4. Jelly Roll’s Intense Acceptance speech centered on Jesus
Artist Jelly Roll won Contemporary Country Album for his work on his album Beautifully Broken. In his acceptance speech, he spoke highly on the subject of Christ, while also mentioning how he “would have killed (him)self” if not for his wife, Bunnie Xo. He also reflected on his past life behind bars and his recovery from very dark places. The speech was one of extreme emotion and passion by Jelly Roll, who won his first three Grammy’s this year.
5. Justin Bieber Performs in his boxers and socks
Justin Bieber performed at the Grammy’s for the first time in four years, and ended up receiving four nominations for Album of the year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best R&B Performance. More notably however, during his performance of his song Yukon, Bieber took the stage in nothing but silk boxers and socks, garnering attention from the media and fans.
6. Trevor Noah dissed Nicki Minaj
Trevor Noah hosted the Grammy’s for the 6th time this year. During the ceremony, Noah commented on Minaj’s recent MAGA affiliation, saying “She’s still at the White House with Donald Trump.” Which prompted Minaj to respond in a post on X, saying “Trevor refuses to come out of the closet when everyone in the industry knows his boyfriend” Seemingly accusing Noah of being Gay, according to LGBTQ Nation.
7. Trevor Noah Also referenced the Drake-Kendrick FEUD
Kendrick Lamar became the most awarded rapper in Grammy history this year, adding five new awards to bring his total to 27, surpassing Jay-Z. The Not Like Us singer was addressed by Noah while he was near him, stating “I actually thought about roasting you, and then I remembered what you can do to light-skinned men from other countries.” Referencing Lamar’s continued feud with Canadian rapper Drake.
8. Tyler, the creator hit someone with a car
Well, not actually. While performing his song Sugar On My Tongue, Tyler drove a car onto the stage and over a body double in a choreographed stunt. He won the inaugural Best Album Cover for his album CHROMAKOPIA, and was nominated for Album of the Year, Best Rap Album, Best Alternative Album, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance.
9. Trevor noah referenced donald trump, Clinton, EPSTEIN, and greenland in the same joke
Mid show, Trevor Noah took a crack at President Trumps reported interest in Greenland while mentioning the Song of the Year, saying “that is an Grammy that every artist wants almost as much as Trump wants Greenland, which makes sense because Epstein’s island is gone, he needs a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton”. 10. President Trump calls Grammy’s “Virtually Unwatchable”
The President of the United States took to his social media website Truth Social to call out the Grammy’s, and specifically host Trevor Noah, even going as far as to threaten legal action. “I’ll be sending my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless, dope of an M.C.” Trump said according to Vanity Fair. It’s certainly a bold choice for the President, calling the biggest night in music “Virtually unwatchable”.
