IRANIAN CAPITOL HIT BY ISRAEL, BACKED BY THE US

Israel launched strikes against the capitol city of Tehran, February 28, 2026

Amid growing tensions between the United States, Israel, Iran, and the overall conflicts plaguing the middle east, Israel launched a daylight strike against Iran’s capitol city, Tehran on Saturday. The strikes seemed to be targeting political and military leaders of the nation.

The strikes main target was Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei, in addition to other senior officials. The US and Israel have stated that multiple more days of intensive attacks are planned, with the Pentagon tagging the operation “Operation Epic Fury”.

Iran has retaliated, targeting Israel and US Military bases in Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain with missiles and drones, according to the Wall Street Journal.

This attack comes as the US military has been conducting a military buildup in the middle east in the past month, after Iran’s reported Violence against protesters who challenged the Iranian regime in January.
